The premiere of "Mulan" and the Bond movie is postponed as Hollywood anticipates Corona

The Walt Disney Company organized the premiere of its action movie "Mulan" on Monday, pressing ahead with its movie theaters, although the spread of the Coronavirus will keep it away from China, the second-largest market for films, indefinitely.

Currently, production companies have decided that it is necessary to continue showing films in cinemas in most parts of the world. The main exception to this is the new James Bond movie "No Time to Die," which the producers postponed from April to November.

Production company executives are closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus and the schedule for upcoming films.

The busy summer movie season is set to kick off on May 1 with Disney's "Black Widow" movie "Black Widow" from the Marvel superhero series of Disney, followed by a new installment in the "Fast and Furious" series (Fast and Furious) by Comcast Corp.

New from the "Top Gun" series by Viacom's Paramount Pictures, followed by big-budget films. And if the Coronavirus keeps people at home or leads to the closure of more cinemas, it will threaten movie revenues during Hollywood's most lucrative season.

Movie theaters closed across China, Italy, and parts of France. Jeff Goldstein, head of local distribution at Warner Bros. Film Productions, a subsidiary of AT&T, said the situation was putting production companies in an "unfamiliar position."

He added that Warner Bros. has not postponed the release of any of its films, "but we are open. We will consider everything and see how it goes." The National Association of Cinema Owners said film screenings remain sanitary in most areas and cinemas will remain open "in accordance with local regulations".

"Mulan" is expected to be shown in the United States on March 27, the live version of the popular animated movie of the same name. The cost of the new film was 200 million dollars.
